Patrick grew up primarily in Michigan and Kentucky. He spent four years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, including two tours in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then studied and earned his Masters of Divinity from Westminster Seminary California. He has served in full-time ministry at The Fields in Carlsbad, CA since 2010 and as an occasional host on White Horse Inn. In 2020, Patrick and his family moved to Columbia to serve with Grace Reformed Church and Theocast while preparing to plant Covenant Grace Columbia.

Patrick enjoys all things sports, good food and drink, and rich time with friends. He is accompanied by his lovely wife Susan and two spunky kids, Caiden and Ryleigh.
